The owner is old friend from our days recovering from a bone marrow transplant. We fought the same battle and won.

• The Max Foundation - The Max Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives and survival rates of patients with blood-related cancers worldwide.

• National Marrow Donor Program - information for patients and donors.
• Gift of Life Bone Marrow Registry - facilitates bone marrow transplants for patients around the world suffering from life-threatening illnesses by increasing the representation of the Jewish people in the bone marrow donor pool.  I met Jay Feinberg at Fred Hutch Patients Reunions in August 2000 and July 2005.
