Jose Carreras International Leukaemia Foundatiion. José Carreras is one of the worlds most famous and inspirational leukemia survivors. He received a bone marrow transplant at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in 1987.
The Max Foundation - the mission of The Max Foundation is:
- To improve the lives and survival rates of patients suffering with blood related cancers worldwide.
- To provide the most comprehensive services and resources available to patients with blood related cancers regardless of their country of origin or economic status.
- To bring the results of technology and research to the people of the world who do not have access to them.
